1. Sellers -- Finish entering your items by NOON
tomorrow (Thursday the 6th) - you can still print tags
after that time, but all inventory needs to be input by
then.2. Shoppers -- Make your shopping lists now,
thinking ahead over the next year or so, what you are
likely to need. Be sure you know what sizes you need.
BRING ALONG A COUPLE OF SHOPPING BAGS!! Those big blue
Ikea bags are GREAT. Seriously -- you might take home
more than you expect.3. Shoppers who are still
expecting -- Read/print the POM "Layette List" shown in
the current issue of Multiplicity (which you can find
right here on BigTent, under the "Files" tab.) It's
really helpful. Bring a helper with you, if you can,
and water! There'll be snacks there, but if you're in
advanced stages of pregnancy, we want you to be comfy
as you explore the racks and racks of adorable things
for your babies-to-be!!4. Please tell all your
friends, relations, neighbors, co-workers, etc. about
the Sale -- everyone is welcome from 10:00 on, on
Saturday!See you there! : )

Oh!! And forgot to mention: There'll be on-site (in
the same room) childcare, through UrbanSitter - so
please don't let childcare issues prevent you from
coming!

Please don't be so hard on yourself!! When you can -
naptime, maybe? - jot some things down, in writing,
about how the day/evening went. Memories don't all
have to be in photographic form... and -- they're only
TWO -- your little ones are not going to remember any
of this, not for another year at LEAST, certainly not
that they didn't go to a pumpkin patch!! Remember -
EVERYTHING is new and exciting for them - every day is
practically a pumpkin patch for tiny humans with no
frame of reference!Seriously -- brace yourself for the
holidays, when boxes and wrap are just as exciting as
whatever carefully-picked-out gift is inside. Often
more so.But back to writing stuff down: The journal
that we've kept -- handwritten, things jotted down
hastily (sometimes just key words to trigger a memory),
when/if we had a second, is SUCH a precious thing, and
captures moments in a whole different, equally
meaningful way - maybe more so. Particularly the stuff
around the time when they started getting verbal... A
lot of people do this on their computers, and the
method really doesn't matter. But it's a way to
capture these amazing, concentrated, significant times
on YOUR time, which is really limited, obviously...
but maybe that'll take some of the pressure to document
off? Were you with anyone else on Halloween, who
might've taken photos of your boys? Can you get pix
from them?AND - if you are really disappointed about
the costume thing - THEY don't know what day is what --
get your camera ready, and maybe some new toy handy,
then suit 'em up next time they're both in a good
mood... first thing in the morning? right after
breakfast? Then maybe you can get that one photo. And
those 2-part photo frames were MADE for parents of
twins... I'll bet you can get a nice photo of each of
them at the same session -- tho very likely not both of
them in the SAME photo. (My kids are FIVE, and we have
maybe a dozen images ((out of MILLIONS)) where they
both came out great.) But I have lots of beautiful
2-part frames from various events, which have lovely
photos of each of them individually. Then there's going
to a professional photographer, or having one come to
you... there are TONS of talented folks all over the
Bay Area offering this. It's a tough issue, these days,
since photography is so overwhelming accessible, and
almost expected. I'm as photo-obsessed as anyone...
but -- I can't even keep up with all the photos I've
taken. There are a million on my phone, on my camera,
my hard drives are all full -- I haven't framed, much
less printed or even SORTED, much of anything in
probably a year. (Wait - no - I've framed images as
gift for grandparents... but strangely, not us!)
Anyway - it's kind of ridiculous. So - I've been
trying to remind myself sometimes that it's better for
our girls when we try to BE in the moment (whatever it
may be) rather than just photograph it. I don't want
my kids' memories of me at every outing with a camera
in my face - I want them to remember the fun times we
had, doing stuff together.Good luck to you! Please be
gentle with yourself - parenting is SO complicated, and
there are already enough demands on your time and
energy... and 2 is a really busy time. Things WILL
get more manageable! Hang in there!
