Hi everybody,I had the extremely unpleasant surprise to
discover UCSF, where I will give birth in January,
doesn't have any birth classes for 3 months (I think
it's absurd to not organize any classes for pregnant
women during a whole trimester). As French and new
habitant of San Francisco I'm looking for twins birth
classes.Do you have any ideas of where I could go? My
due date is on January 31st so it's kind of urgent
 now.Thank you in advance.Marie

You can try Newborn Connections (run by UCSF). We are
delivering at UCSF, but are taking our preparing for
twins class at Newborn Connections on Dec 2 b/c that
date worked best for us. Don't know about birthing
classes/dates b/c these will be our 2nd/3rd children so
we did the birthing classes last time around (at Day
One - which could be another option for you, as well as
Carmel Blue in North Beach or Natural Resources in
 Noe/Mission).

Ludmila, I am so sorry for the mix up! I accidentally
put the wrong date for the 9 am to 1 pm shift. That
should have been for Saturday and not Friday. I gave
you credit for the shift you worked and am thankful you
came to volunteer in the evening. You were vital to our
checking out process. A BIG THANK YOU to you for all
 your hard work. Hae Won

We had a great members and volunteers' night last
night. We hope the members and volunteers who attended
yesterday's event enjoyed getting to shop early and
have an opportunity to socialize with each other. It
was especially great to see our new and expectant
parents chat with our more seasoned parents. There is
so much collective knowledge, support, and
understanding that parents of multiples have and can
share. It certainly always helped me to hear from
parents of multiples older than mine tell me things get
easier. We hope the bonds you made last night carry
through; think of us when you need advice and support
or just a chance to commiserate. We also hope our
members are inspired to attend our future events and
check in more frequently on BigTent and Facebook to
maintain that connection. Lastly, congrats to our
raffle prize winners and thank you to our
volunteers!Duly noted for next time - more food, less
booze. I am personally so sorry for those of you who
missed out on the pizza. If you email me at
consignmentsale at sfpom.org I will try to make it up to
you somehow. Please don't be shy. Now, down to business
 - settlement reports are available online. See what
sold and also please confirm your percent net proceeds
is correct. It should be anywhere from 60 to 80 percent
depending on how many shifts you volunteered or if you
were a committee member. Login to your account as you
normally would and click on "View Settlement" in the
banner across the top. Please email me at
consignmentsale at sfpom.org within a week of the sale end
if something needs to be corrected. If you're at all
disappointed in your sale numbers remember tomorrow
we're open to the general public and most items go half
off the last hour. You can still do quite well. As
always, please contact me with any questions or
concerns. If you're at all interested in being on the
core planning committee for future sales, please let me
know! We could potentially have these sales more
frequently if we have the staff and desire. Thanks!Hae
