City Officials Launch WiFi in Parks

Mayor Ed Lee, Supervisor Mark Farrell and other city officials, including the Department
of Technology's Miguel A. Gamiño; city administrator Naomi Kelly; Supervisor Jane
Kim; andRec and Park GM Phil Ginsburg, were on hand at Tenderloin Recreation Center
on October 1 to launch free Wi-Fi connectivity in 32 city parks. The Wi-Fi in Parks
project was made possible through the city's partnership with Google and the San
 Francisco Citizens Initiative for Technology and Innovation (sf.citi).

The 14th annual Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival comes to Hellman Hollow and Lindley
and Marx meadows in Golden Gate Park October 3-5, featuring a lineup of the music
industry's greats, including Dwight Yoakam, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Chris Isaak,
and Emmylou Harris.

As a reminder of his generosity and love for the city, this concert is a free event

Mobile Rec at India Basin Shoreline Park on October 4

Come out to India Basin Shoreline Park (Hunter's Point Blvd. and Hawes) for a Mobile
Rec event on Saturday, October 4, from 11a.m. - 2 p.m. This free recreation event
features non-traditional sports like a climbing wall and kayaking. We provide the

Free Zumba Dance Party at Upper Noe Rec Center on October 5
