When she’s not overseeing the Academy’s fly collection, Dr. Trautwein studies the insects that live with (and on) us. Calling all members ages 15 to 18: Sunday, October 12, from 1 to 4 p.m. is just for you. Academy photographer Kathryn Whitney takes teens on a hands-on ride through the world of nature photography, from the basics all the way to creative composition.
