 Hi Christina,I went on modified bed rest with mono-di
 twins at 24 weeks because I had a short cervix of 1.5
 mm. I continued to work full-time via "telecommuting"
 for two additional months. At 32 weeks, I was
 diagnosed with gestational diabetes and decided to go
 on maternity leave early and I put myself on strict bed
 rest (i.e.; hubby made breakfast and left it on a chair
 next to me). Your type A personality will help you with
 the mental endurance to keep going. For me this meant I
 declined the shots and scheduled all of my appointments
 for 1 day a week--which ended up being the one time a
 week I left the house. I am so glad I did--I made it
 to 36 weeks and delivered by scheduled C-section.
