Women's Golf Clinic and Mixer at Golden Gate Park Golf Course on May 21

The San Francisco Mayor's Women's Golf Council invites women and juniors interested
in golf for a fun afternoon at Golden Gate Park Golf Course on Thursday, May 21,
 from 2-5 p.m.  This fun event will include free clinics by local LPGA and PGA professionals,
contests, raffles and prizes and refreshments.  Bring your own iron, wedge and putter,

The San Francisco Mayor's Women's Golf Council was formed under the guidance of

San Francisco Botanical Garden's 75th Anniversary Community Day on May 31

This year marks 75 years since San Francisco Botanical Garden opened to the public
as a place of beauty, learning and inspiration. To honor this anniversary, SFBG 
has designed a day just for you- Community Day on Sunday, May 31, from 10 a.m. to
5 p.m.

Community Day is a free, daylong celebration that features family activities, giant
puppets and a sing-a-long, a variety of docent-led walking tours; a special stage
featuring world music and dance performances reflecting the global nature of the
 collection, a photo booth and more. Visitors can also purchase picnicking supplies
at food trucks from Off the Grid, and beverages of all kinds, including those for
those 21 and up, will also be available for purchase.

Dust Off Those Picnic Blankets for Stern Grove Festival's 2015 Lineup

Stern Grove Festival, a San Francisco summer tradition for over seven decades, recently
announced its 78th season of admission-free concerts, Sundays at 2 p.m. from June
14 through August 16, at Sigmund Stern Grove, located at 19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard
in San Francisco.

The 2015 Season showcases an eclectic roster of popular performers from the Bay 
Area and beyond. This summer's 10-week concert series features The Doobie Brothers,
Randy Newman, Pacific Mambo Orchestra with special guest Sheila E., Mary Chapin 
Carpenter, Talib Kweli, tUnE-yArDs, and Morris Day and The Time, among other diverse
musical artists, as well as the Festival's classical partners San Francisco Symphony
and San Francisco Ballet.

section of San Francisco? Are you interested in being a youth leader and promoting
park stewardship? Do you enjoy working with the community and want to have an active
role as a youth leader and advocate for your neighborhood parks and rec centers?

Free Guided Trail Hike with Healthy Parks, Healthy People

McLaren Park at University & Mansell, (3rd Saturday of Month) 10 a.m.-12 noon

Taking care of your health is a walk in the park!  The hike starts with light stretching,
followed by a guided walk through groves of redwoods and cypress trees. Meet by 
the McLaren Park sign and let's Get Out & Play!

For a more enjoyable walk remember to dress comfortably, wear walking shoes, bring
water and use sunscreen. Please check local weather forecasts - Trail Walks will
