Tomorrow is #GivingTuesday!   #GivingTuesday has inspired philanthropic action around the world, and we invite you to join the movement and support the San Francisco Zoo!  This Giving Tuesday, we unveil this year’s Zoo "Wish List," a compilation of enrichment items our animals need and love. Animal enrichment encourages behaviors similar to what occurs in the wild and enhances our animals’ overall well-being. Check out the Wish List (https://t.e2ma.net/click/kopch/o330mu/8m02jc) now to donate gifts that will keep our animals healthy and engaged during the holidays and beyond.  

 

Your generosity this holiday season will help us to provide excellent care for our animals, support worldwide conservation efforts, underwrite our children’s education programs, and enable us to continue improving and expanding our animal exhibits.  If you prefer to make a cash donation, you may (if you desire) designate it towards animal care, conservation, or education programs. If you prefer to let us choose how to allocate your cash gift,  we will put your money towards the programs and animal care items which our staff deems most immediate and necessary. 

Cash donations above $1,000 during this year’s #GivingTuesday fundraising appeal will automatically have 10% allocated to our conservation fund, which supports field-based conservation activities throughout the world, and enables us at the Zoo to support the survival and protection of species in the wild threatened with extinction due to poaching, habitat loss, and disease.  And as a special incentive, one of our wonderful board members has offered to FULLY match all of the conservation fund allocations received!
