 A friend gave me the Luke and Eberlein book (I am happy
 to pass it on)... I too found it fear mongering. And
 the recommend menus were crazy. Lots of dairy and
 protein, zero mention of veggies. They explained
 themselves ie. The importance of putting weight on the
 babies. But still two servings of ice cream a day? And
 literally no vegetables? I stopped reading it at that
 point.

 Agree on the Dr. Luke book - a bit much, but I still
 read it. I really like Juggling Twins by Meghan
 Regan-Loomis - some really good practical advice about
 surviving the first few weeks/months. I read way too
 many books when I was pregnant - not sure how helpful
 that many books were, but I felt like I needed to be a
 sponge with information. Other books I liked were
 "Ready or Not Here We Come" and I also read the
 Happiest Baby on the Block book.
