 Before our kids were mobile we used to love going to
 the Park Chalet and sitting outside in the grass. It's
 lovely space, across the street from the beach and on
 the edge of GG Park, and you can get beer, other
 drinks, food, etc. They used to have live music there
 on weekend afternoons, but I haven't been in a while
 now so I'm not sure if that's still the case. Also
 great to sit in GG Park; the botanical gardens are
 lovely, and almost always fairly quiet. I took the kids
 there for many stroller walks, and then put out a
 blanket in the sun. If you like wine tasting, now is a
 good time to do it, when it's easy to corral the
 babies. Without a car, you probably don't want to drive
 up to Sonoma, but there's a winery in Alameda - you can
 take the ferry and then walk, or get a cab - that is
 supposed to be really nice. Or take the ferry to
 Sausalito, get something to eat, and sit in the grassy
 area for a while. Short hikes through the Presidio; get
 a beach tent to protect from the sun and hang out at
 Crissy field/beach. Just a few things that we liked to
 do (and still like to do, but it's harder with the kids
 running all around!)Finally, you might try posting this
 to the Facebook group if you're there... I think you
 might get more responses to an open ended question like
