Jungle Book Bonanza
It’s always a jungle inside the Zoo, but this weekend visitors can meet characters Mowgli and Baloo from The Jungle Book (Saturday 10 am-3 pm and Sunday 11 am-3 pm) and take pictures at an official movie backdrop. We'll also have free passes to the movie screening and posters to hand out, Sunday only from 11 am-3 pm.

Family BikeAbout
Pedal with your pals on a docent-led tour while enjoying the sights and sounds of the Zoo on April 16 from 8:30-10:00 am. Pre-registration (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=b81b9be425&e=7683a9aed3) is required and participants must provide their own bike.

Shark Stewards Conservation Lecture
Learn about one of the ocean's most enigmatic creatures from a marine biologist who's filmed and produced several underwater documentaries! Listen to the free presentation April 17 from 1-2:30 pm in the Osher Great Hall of the Lurie Education Center.

The Zoo's gift shop is back open with even more unique items for animal and conservation enthusiasts! Your purchase of these colorful and popular shoes help support our efforts to save sea turtles, which fortify coastal ecology and keep the ocean healthy. Plus, for every pair bought, a pair is provided to a child in need! Members receive a 10% discount.

Members' Morning
The monthly gathering just for Zoo Members is happening April 9 at 9:00 am. Along with the regular perks, members get exclusive access to take pictures with characters from The Jungle Book and pose in front of an official movie backdrop before the Zoo opens to the general public!

Teen Career Conference
Hundreds of high school students will be at the Zoo on April 9 for the Bay Area Teen Science Teen Career Conference. The free event is full, but students can check the event page (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=9397c34ee6&e=7683a9aed3) often for potential openings. Experts from UC Berkeley, Google, Yahoo and the Zoo will be facilitating workshops and talking about career and college opportunities.

Young Zoologists
Register (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=b07acb549a&e=7683a9aed3) your child, ages 5-8, for the Young Zoologists class April 16 from 1-3:30 pm. The theme of this class is "Beautiful Birds." Students are taught about the colorful, feathered animals using crafts, games, keeper talks, walks around the Zoo and more.
