- letter practice u and p (she got *so* frustrated/self-attacking trying to
draw them)
- drawing
- big discussion about mouths and butterflies and their life cycle, with
looking at research and pictures online (there was a moth in the bathroom)
- spider spinnerets (including video)
- painting (art supplies now in the wardrobe); I taught some basic brush
and paint handling techniques, which was surprisingly well received, and
she spent a bunch of time experimenting with color combinations, trying out
basically every combination of the three colors she had chosen. I didn't
suggest that in any way, but I did get her to guess what color she'd come
up with. Was very cool, I have a picture.
- I read to her from the MLP graphic novel from about 10:50 to 12:00 (!!)
