Hi Liz,My boys are 3 months and I've been home with
them since about 4 weeks. Every baby is different and
its a bit of a learning curve. For me it got better
once I learned to feed them both at the same time
either nursing or bottle, maybe you are a champ and
already doing that? Also, maybe yours are pro nursers
or you really want to have them soley breastfeed which
is awesome, but for mine they were definitely less
efficient breast feeders and they slept a little better
after the bottle so I did half and half, pumping while
bottle feeding to make time more efficient, and though
thats also a learning curve my days got so much better
when I felt a little less pressure to breastfeed which
took so much longer I felt like I was feeding all the
time. As for the unsettled mornings, I also find that
especially baths and walks in double ring sling or
ergos ( I know hard with this recent weather) tend to
really calm them. If they will tolerate sitting on the
bed or couch in a Twin Z pillow or whatever prop/seat
contraption you own its totally ok to get your stuff
done and entertain them at the same time, like folding
laundry in front of them while talking singing or
dancing.I also have a toddler so I can testify that the
twin learning curve is so much bigger than a single so
you're doing great no mater what, also theyll start to
spread out their feedings soon regardless, so it will
get better!

I have identical boys, not girls, but we did go with
the one always wearing somethng blue option and it does
seem helpful not so much for us, but for others. In my
experience you yourself will be able to see the
difference pretty quickly, at least when they are side
by side. I think its a little bit easier for friends
with girls because there are so many more accessory
options, and to choose colors it doesnt have to be the
whole outfit, it could be bib, headbands, clips socks,
hats, booties so you dont have to feel wedded to
certain outfits or worry that gift outfits arent in the
right colors.
