Celebrating Dads and Giraffes

Bring your dad to the Zoo FREE on Father's Day! With summer solstice just around the corner, it's the longest weekend of the year and SF Zoo is celebrating by highlighting the animal with the longest neck. We have a magnificent giraffe herd of seven individuals, including a baby. Spend extra time visiting our giraffes and attend one or all of the four special Keeper Talks. Wolf Canyon Now Open

Mexican gray wolves (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=5a4011ff6a&e=7683a9aed3) are HERE! Come visit our three wolf brothers in their large, newly refurbished and technologically advanced habitat! Learn the wolf conservation story and how the Zoo is helping grow the population of the most endangered wolf subspecies.

Watch a Wildlife Theatre Show

Every summer, Zoo visitors delight in watching Wildlife Theatre (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=874cb3c9f6&e=7683a9aed3) , a 20-30 minute show utilizing a variety of animals like an eagle, boa, porcupine and owl to tell wildlife conservation stories. The daily shows are entertaining and interactive! Catch a 1:30 pm or 2:30 pm performance now through August 12. After that, shows run each weekend until September 5.

Pink Pride Weekend
June 23-26

SF Zoo is painting the park pink in honor of Pink Flamingo Day and Pride 2016. Pink Pride Weekend (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=14111e9e3c&e=7683a9aed3) features our Chilean flamingos, a fun selection of pink foods available at food sale locations and an opportunity to help us make decorations for the SF Zoo float in San Francisco's Pride Parade as we stand in solidarity with the community of Orlando, all the victims and the countless lives they touched.

SF Zoo Night at The Lion King

Watch a spectacular musical and support our Zoo! The Lion King is coming to San Francisco from November 2 to December 31, and you can purchase tickets with a portion of sales going back to the Zoo. Nature Trail is Open
One of the must popular summer exhibits is back open! Take a walk through Nature Trail (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=7a656b685b&e=7683a9aed3) and interact with more than a dozen small animals while learning conservation and fun facts from student volunteers. This year is the 40th anniversary of Nature Trail! Come see how the Zoo has revamped the exhibit to celebrate.

Summer is the busiest time of the year at the Zoo and excitement is in the air! Our Mexican gray wolf exhibit is now open, penguin chicks just hatched and we're watching  new baby animals grow each week. So much is happening, but we can't do it without your help. Red, White & Zoo
Celebrate the 4th of July at SF Zoo! We're highlighting our "patriotic" animals with red, white and blue coloring July 2-4. Our partners at KQED are bringing in a classic red-colored character to cruise the Zoo, greet guests and take pictures! Can you guess who it may be? Enjoy the relaxing ambiance of Red, White & Zoo during the 4th of July weekend!
