 We also work with Golden Gate Regional Center, and I
 agree with nedarz that they would probably be the best
 place to start. I'm sure they could advise you about
 coverage. We're relatively new to California, but all
 of our evaluations with them are free and we've never
 had to do a thing to coordinate with our insurance
 company. But if we need to follow up with specialists,
 those would not be covered for free.Our appointment
 with GGRC last week was pretty straightforward! Our
 girls slept almost the entire time, so it was mostly a
 discussion of the milestones they reached and of any
 concerns we had. They plan to come back to follow up in
 a few months, but we don't have anything else planned
 in the meantime.Feel free to PM me if you have any
 other questions! I almost missed your question here
 since I don't read this board regularly.
