Our thrillingly popular event, Boo at the Zoo (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=515be3ce13&e=7683a9aed3) , only happens once a year - so don't let a little rain scare you away! Kids in costume are encouraged to participate in the Costume Parade and Contest with celebrity judges - beginning at 11:00 am near the Lion Fountain. The family-friendly Halloween event includes trick-or-treat stations throughout the Zoo and a festival with vendors, face-painters and arts & crafts.  Enjoy the Pumpkin Stomp & Chomp, Haunted Nature Trail and an Insect Zoo full of creepy, crawly critter adventures!

Early Childhood Classes
Welcome winter with your toddler in an Early Childhood class! Specially designed for children 18 months to 4 years, little ones are encouraged to get silly like sea lions, romp like reindeer and play like penguins. Conservation Sundays
SF Zoo is bursting with free opportunities to learn about conservation from experts in various fields. Fishing Cat Conservancy's (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=57fd927985&e=7683a9aed3) Dr. Ashwin Naidu discusses field work and community-based conservation on Sunday, October 30 from 1:00-2:30 pm. The Zoo's own Chief of Vet Services, Dr. Graham Crawford, presents a groundbreaking project to save lemurs (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=a4df73e5d5&e=7683a9aed3) in Madagascar on Saturday, November 19 from 1:00-2:30 pm.
