Teddy Bear Weekend
September 10-11

Back by popular demand, Teddy Bear Weekend (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=235c994f53&e=7683a9aed3) highlights our awesome grizzly bear sisters and polar bear! SF Zoo Members get in on the action early during Members' Morning (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=8cffa5160f&e=7683a9aed3) on Saturday, September 10, from 9:00-10:00 am. Members have exclusive access to a special Keeper Talk at 9:30 am all about bears! Throughout the weekend, Build-A-Bear will be on site offering check-ups and an opportunity to have a custom bear designed on site, with a portion of sales going to support SF Zoo's mission. During the month of September, book-it to the Zoo and become a book worm as we encourage reading by featuring stories about bears, insects, wolves and more! Annual Members Meeting

Members in good standing are invited to attend the Annual Meeting of the San Francisco Zoological Society ("the Society") in the Bernard Osher Great Hall of the Lurie Education Center on September 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm. The main item of business is the election of officers and directors. To the extent they exist, any proposed amendment(s) to the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws may be discussed. Young Zoologists
Come learn about Awesome Amphibians at the Young Zoologists class on Saturday, September 17 from 1:00-3:30 pm. Children 5-8 years old will love exploring animal classifications, habitats and what makes each species unique. Participants play games, make crafts and go on walks through the Zoo.
