Hello TK Families,                                        9/21/16


Thank you to all the families who came to Back-to-School Night.  It is a
pleasure to get to talk to the families and show you the classroom.


Things continue to go well in our classroom.  This is a very PAX group of
children!  We share, take turns, help each other, and use words when mad
instead of hitting (usually!).  One small problem is that some students
think they can only have 1 friend, and if that friend is not playing with
them they get very upset.  Please remind your child that we all have MANY
friends, and it’s OK if a friend is playing with someone else sometimes.

Please send in a family photo if you haven’t already.  The photos are
posted on the wall, on your child’s big STAR poster.


There is NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 10.


Thank you to all the families who have donated snacks.  We always need
more.  There are 20 children in the class, and we have 2 snacks a day.
This means that EVERY DAY we need 20 apples and 20 Gogurts.  Or 20 apples
and 20 cheese sticks.  Or 20 bananas and 20 apples.   EVERY SINGLE DAY!
It’s a lot of food.  Thanks!


Not this week, but next Friday September 30 is SPORTS CLOTHES day, for the
whole school.  The students can wear their favorite team jersey.  Go
Giants, or 49ers, Sharks, A’s, Raiders, Warriors, etc.


Our class has 20 students.  12 girls and 8 boys.  Here are the names.


Girls:  AMBER, LEVONA, CRYSTAL, JAINA, JOY, SOPHIA, KELLY, JESSICA,
FRANCES, ROXANNE, ZOE, ISABELLA


Boys; AUSTIN, RYAN, KEATON, ARMONDO, KOLTEN, JASON, NICHOLAS, JAYDEN


On Mondays we have GARDEN class with Ms. Julia.

On Thursday morning we have ART class with Ms. Christie

on Thursday afternoons we have the LIBRARIAN Ms. Ridley come read us a
story.
