Dear Sheridan  Families,

I      have     good      news     and     bad     news.     We
have     a     fabulous    team      at    Sheridan.        We
have     exceptional     teachers andan extraordinary support staff.
Every one works extremely hard to ensure that your children succeed
at Sheridan.  As a  result, our test scores have improved and our
children are  performing better than ever.  We should be proud of
everyone especially the students.

Unfortunately, with success comes great cost.  Because we are
performing better, they will take away three fabulous people, our
Instructional Reform Facilitator (IRF)  Leanne Chapman, our Literacy
Coach, Indira  Larios and our Reading Intervention Coach, Carol
Savory.  These women have been instrumental in  helping our school
succeed and  I  am very concerned what will  happen  next year
without them.

You  as parents have the power to  reverse this tragedy.   Please
email and write letters to the following people and  let your voice
be  heard.  Let the district know how you feel about losing these
valuable people.
