St. Patty's Party
This Weekend

San Francisco Zoo & Gardens is the “greenest” place in the Bay Area to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=a36432f7cd&e=7683a9aed3) ! Not only do we have 100 acres of green space, dozens of green animals, and a vast portfolio of environmentally conscious programs, we’re also throwing a fabulous party on Saturday and Sunday, March 18 & 19. Guests can enjoy live Irish music as well as traditional Irish food and beverages at The Depot, an outdoor dining space. The band will play sets from 12:00-3:00 pm each day. For all things green, stop by the Zoo and soak up the fun!

Teen Science Conference
Saturday, March 18
All Bay Area high school students are invited to the Bay Area Teen Science (B.A.T.S.) Teen Career Conference on Saturday, March 18. The FREE and exclusive teen-only workshop is the perfect opportunity to meet and discuss interests in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) with undergraduate and graduate students, researchers, and STEM industry and education professionals. SF Zoo offers public, private and VIP Wild Walks, ranging from one hour to 90 minutes every weekend! Guided tours start at just $7 for Members and $10 for non-members. Each tour is filled with fun facts, animal stories and animal encounters that will make you feel like a Zoo insider! Volunteering at San Francisco Zoo & Gardens is a fun, educational and rewarding experience. Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary and San Francisco Zoo & Gardens present the Octopus Soirée: A Science & Art Celebration of the Awesome Octopus on Saturday, April 8 from 7:00-9:30 pm in the Osher Great Hall of the Lurie Education Center!
