 Let's get together again for a totally open discussion
 about our PreKs, Kindergarteners and Beyond! Our last
 meeting was an open format and it worked out pretty
 well, so let's do it again. The next one will be a
 documentary screening...RSVP here or on FB. I'll send
 out the meeting address to all attendees the day before
 the meeting. Feel free to message me with any questions
 or discussion topic suggestions. Here is the tentative
 agenda:- Keeping our kids safe (you know - that concept
 of tricky people, untrustworthy adultsn etc.)- Good
 after school programs (KidPower, Karate, Yoga,
 BeFriends, anything unique and worthwhile?)- Camps for
 Thanksgiving and Winter break - any tips for fun,
 unique, or affordable camps? Any deals going on? Which
 allow last-minute drop ins?- Discussion about homework:
 do your kids get HW? Are schools moving towards no
 homework? Have any parents requested no homework?- Best
 apps (educational and fun)- PTA - are you involved? -
 What works well at your school, and what doesn't? (e.g.
 car pooling, movie nights, dance parties)- Let's
 discuss fundraisers - which ones are fun and
 effective?- Switching schools? Has anybody switched
 schools? Are you considering it?- Select date for
 screening of "Most Likely to Succeed" a documentary
 about the past and future of schools.- OtherLooking
