Moscone Playground Reopening Celebration on April 14
Moscone Playground is now open!To commemorate this milestone, join us for a community
fun day on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Celebrate the recent improvements,
which include new playground equipment, a new dog play area, a mini bicycle pump
 track and resurfaced tennis courts! We'll have a bubble artist, face painting, 
nature activities, tennis and more! The SF Marina Library will also be hosting a
 street fair booth! The project is funded by the City's parks bond, general fund
 monies secured by former District 2 Supervisor and current Mayor Mark Farrell, 
as well as generous donations from Linda and Tom Coates and San Franciscans for

Earth Month with the National Recreation and Park Association!
This April, San Francisco is a part of the Meet Me at the Park Earth Month Campaign,
a collaboration between the National Recreation and Park Association and The Walt
Disney Company, including Disney|ABC Television Group and ESPN, to help fund local
park improvement projects in 16 U.S. cities across the country. The campaign includes
three potential projects in San Francisco - one of which will receive a $20,000 
grant for park improvements. They are our Greenagers at Bayview Hill Park, All-Star
Summer at Youngblood Coleman Playground and the Tennis and Learning Center. You 
can help decide which park or program receives the funding by voting for it every

Outside Lands Lineup Announced
The lineup for the 2018 Outside Lands Music and Arts festival has been released!.
Headliners include the Weekend, Florence and the Machine, Janet Jackson, Beck and

Founder of "Off the Grid" Named 2018 SBA California Small Business Person of the
 Year
The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) 2018 California Small Business Person
of the Year is Matt Cohen, CEO of San Francisco based Off the Grid. Founded in 2010,

Greenagers Now Hiring for the Class of 2019
The Greenager Program is an outdoor youth leadership program created and designed
to offer early high school teens a chance to play an important role in the community
by improving the city's green spaces! We're looking for rising 9th to 10th grade

Junior Giants Registration Opens April 21!
Baseball season is upon us! For those looking to play this summer, be sure to sign
up for the FREE Junior Giants Program beginning at 12 a.m. on Saturday, April 21!
The program offers our city's youth a chance to discover the basics of America's
 pastime while learning the value of confidence, integrity, leadership and teamwork.

Kids Games at Kezar Stadium on May 6
Stretch those legs out and join us for the 3rd Annual Kids' Games at Kezar Stadium,
a FREE Olympic-style track meet for boys and girls ages 5 to 14 years old. The event
will take place on Sunday, May 6 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will feature the 50 meter
dash, 100 meter dash, and the Long Jump. Lunch will be served for all participants
with food trucks will be on site for everyone else. Trainers and coaches will be
 working with the runners and t-shirts will be provided. The deadline to register
