Meet Me at the Park Volunteer Day at Bayview Hill on August 9
Join us for a volunteer project at Bayview Hill from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow, 
August 9. Bayview Hill was the winner of the recent Meet Me at the Park campaign,
which resulted in a $20,000 grant from the National Recreation and Park Association.
The scope of work will aim to protect sensitive habitats, restore grasslands and

Launch Party for the Golden Gate Park Tennis Center on September 8
Join the Tennis Coalition and Rec and Park for a special tennis event celebrating
the launch of a campaign for the new Golden Gate Park Tennis Center on Saturday,

Stephen Curry/Under Armour SC30 Select Showcase at Kezar Pavillion
On Tuesday, August 7, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry hosted his SC30 Select
Showcase at historic Kezar Pavilion. Some of the top high school players in the 
nation came to hoop at this iconic site where players such as Bill Russell, Jason
Kidd and Gary Payton have played. A special thanks to Steph Curry for showing some
love to our summer day campers and for supporting our parks. You're always welcome

Coyote Talk & Workshop on August 16
Join Project Coyote's Ranching with Wildlife Coordinator Keli Hendricks for a talk
and workshop about coexisting with San Francisco's resident coyotes, Thursday, August

Stern Grove Festival Featuring Ronnie Spector and the Ronettes on August 12
Make sure you get out to Stern Grove for the last month of free Sunday concerts.
 This Sunday,  the legendary Ronnie Spector and the Ronettes bring a retro sound
 with a modern rock and roll grit. Opening the show is local funkster band The Humidors.
