Yep; flouridation has obvious and massive public health benefits.

That doesn't *necessarily* mean it's not bad for specific
individuals, however.  The article there links to
http://www.icnr.com/articles/fluoride-deposition.html , which
appears to be real science; the last paragraph points out that
whether flouride deposition in the pineal glands of children fucks
with melatonin production is an open question.  Also,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pineal_gland#Calcification , damage to
the pineal is associated with early sexual development (and, again,
we have no idea if calcification of the pineal via flouride is
sufficient to do this thing).

Unfortunately, if you try to find out more about these topics from
Google, you will drown in wack jobs.  But there do seem to be
legitimate open questions here.
