Margaret Hayward Playground Groundbreaking on December 6
We are ready to kick off construction at the Margaret Hayward Playground! Join us
for a holiday groundbreaking TOMORROW, December 6 beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the

Holiday Tree Lighting at McLaren Lodge on December 6
Join us for the 89th Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at McLaren Lodge (501 Stanyan 
Street) in Golden Gate Park TOMORROW, December 6, from 4-8 p.m. This FREE family-friendly
event will feature toboggan rides, snow play area, carnival rides, live entertainment,
cookie decorating, visits with Santa and more! There will also be free admission
 to the Conservatory of Flowers, which will feature a holiday light show!
In addition, because it's the season of giving, the San Francisco Police Department
is hosting a toy drive at the event. All are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped

YPTMTC Wins First Place at SF Youth Art Summit!
Congratulations to the Young People's Teen Musical Theatre Company (YPTMTC), who
 performed excepts from their upcoming musical, Carrie and won the first place performance
award at the Eighth Annual San Francisco Youth Arts Summit. This is the third year

Drop-In Rock Climbing at Glen Canyon Rec Center
Drop-in rock climbing is back at the Glen Canyon Recreation Center rock wall from
now until March! We have hour-long sessions that will go from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesdays,
4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to noon/1:30 to 4:30 p.m.on Saturdays! Limit

San Francisco City Cats at Kezar Pavillion

Marina Holiday Party on December 14
The Marina Community Association is proud to present the inaugural Marina Holiday
Tree Lighting Festival. The event will be held on the Marina Green near the Harbor
Master's office (3950 Scott Street) on Friday, December 14 from 3 to 8 p.m. The 
festival will feature a multitude of attractions including food trucks, live music,
Santa, and the first ever lighting of the Marina Holiday Tree! In addition, the 
San Francisco Marina Small Craft Harbor, along with the San Francisco Yacht Club,
