Give more kids access to great theatre experiences! $50K Challenge ends June 30 Dear Ruth Anne, One of the public school teachers we work with recently told us, “When Bay Area Children’s Theatre teachers came to do a workshop on expressing yourself on stage, that really made a difference in my first graders’ motivation to practice their reading. And going to BACT shows opens up a whole new world for them, because most of our kids don’t have access to live theatre.” As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generous support of community members to bring award-winning theatrical productions and education programs to thousands of children such as the students above. But we still have a lot of work to do to ensure that ALL Bay Area children have access to the life-changing experience of theatre — and we need your help! We have $10,000 to go to meet our Great Things Happen Campaign goal by June 30! Please make a tax-deductible donation today to help expand our outreach and access programs.
