Koret Playground Reopening Celebration on March 31
Celebrate the reopening of the Koret Children's Quarter Playground (320 Bowling

Eggstravaganza on March 31
Come and enjoy this year's Spring Eggstravaganza on March 31 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
at Robin Williams Meadow (formerly Sharon Meadow) in Golden Gate Park. This annual
family-friendly event features egg hunts, carnival rides, games, live entertainment,
food trucks and the highly anticipated annual Rib Cook-Off between SF Rec and Park,
SF Fire, SF Police and other city departments!
Tickets are $10 at the door; children under 2 are free! Advance tickets are available

Moscone Playground Reopening Celebration on April 14
Moscone Playground is now open!To commemorate this milestone, join us for a community
fun day on Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Celebrate the recent improvements,
which include new playground equipment, a new dog play area, a mini bicycle pump
 track and resurfaced tennis courts! The project is funded by the City's parks bond,
general fund monies secured by former District 2 Supervisor and current Mayor Mark
Farrell, as well as generous donations from Linda and Tom Coates and San Franciscans
for Sports and Recreation. Balboa Off Leash Dog Play Area Now Open!
This past Thursday, March 22 we opened the Balboa Park Off-Leash Dog Play Area with
District 11 Supervisor Ahsha Safai. We cut a ribbon to commemorate this occasion,
which was followed by a doggy gift bag giveaway to all the pups and pooches in attendance!

Earth Month with the National Recreation and Park Association!
This April, San Francisco is a part of the Meet Me at the Park Earth Month campaign,
a collaboration between the National Recreation and Park Association and The Walt
Disney Company, including Disney|ABC Television Group and ESPN, to help fund local
park improvement projects in 16 U.S. cities across the country. The campaign includes
three projects in San Francisco - one of which will receive a $20,000 grant for 
park improvements. They are our Greenagers at Bayview Hill Park, All-Star Summer
 at Youngblood Coleman Playground and the Tennis Learning Center. You can help decide

Greenagers Now Hiring for the Class of 2019
The Greenager Program is an outdoor youth leadership program created and designed
to offer early high school teens a chance to play an important role in the community
by improving the city's green spaces! We're looking for rising 9th to 10th grade

Improv for Interaction at Gene Friend Recreation Center in April
Join De Colores for "Improv for Interaction" at Gene Friend SoMa Recreation Center
