2018 Heron Watch on May 19!
Observe the magnificent Great Blue Herons and their chicks during their nesting 
season at Stow Lake on Saturdays in May and June, including this Saturday, May 19!
This FREE program in Golden Gate Park will have interns and volunteers through SF
Nature Education using spotting scopes to direct attention to the herons and their
chicks! The observation site will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with directional

Garden Feast at the San Francisco Botanical Garden on May 23
The San Francisco Botanical Garden (1199 9th Avenue) presents its annual Garden 
Feast, a festive fundraising luncheon held on the sweeping Great Meadow to support
the Garden and its innovative programming, Wednesday, May 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Garden Feast guests will enjoy a delicious lunch on the Great Meadow, surrounded
 by 55 acres of beautiful gardens displaying significant and diverse plant collections,
which include over 8,500 different kinds of plants from around the world. Guests
