Hardly Strictly Bluegrass on October 5-7
The summer music festival season might be over, but we have another weekend concert

Hilltop Park Receives Award from the American Society of Civil Engineers!
The recent $6.7 million renovation that transformed an underused park in the Bayview
into a sought-after, multi-purpose public space for people of all ages has been 
selected by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) San Francisco chapter
 as its Outstanding Parks and Recreation Project! Hilltop's updated features from
this renovation include the 70-foot sundial amphitheater and plaza, a new skateboard
park replacing the former "dish," two new playgrounds, additional seating, picnic
and barbeque areas, an adult fitness and meditation area and accessible pathways.

Jose Coronado Indoor Soccer League Registration
The World Cup might be over, but registration for the 21st season of the Jose Coronado
Indoor Soccer League begins this Monday, October 8 at 10 a.m. The rules are similar

Jr. Warriors Registration Begins on October 11
Registration for the Junior Warriors Basketball League opens on Thursday, October
11 at 10 a.m. The league serves youth from kindergarten to 8th grade and begins

Scaregrove on October 26
Scaregrove returns to Stern Grove (19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard), on Friday, 
October 26 from 3 to 9 p.m. This year's event will feature a costume contest and
 parade, haunted houses, hay rides, carnival rides, giant inflatables, food for 
sale and live entertainment. $10 per person; children under 2 years old are free!
