Pickleball and Pickling: A Perfect Pairing-- September 22 at Louis Sutter Playground
Celebrate the new pickleball courts at Louis Sutter Playground and learn how to 
pickle vegetables at our Pickleball + Pickling event on Saturday, September 22, 
from 2-4 p.m., at Louis Sutter Playground (Wayland & University streets). Pickleball

SF Rebuild Together Joins Mayor Breed, Supervisor Cohen to Clean Up Area Park
Forty volunteers from San Francisco Rebuild Together joined Mayor London Breed and
Supervisor Malia Cohen for a special volunteer cleanup day at Youngblood Coleman
 Park on Saturday, September 16. Volunteers, under the direction of Rec and Park
 crews, painted, planted and beautified the park's clubhouse and walkways. SF Rebuild
Together is a non-profit organization that works to revitalize low-income neighborhoods
and maintain the city's diverse character house-by-house, block-by-block.

Another Successful California Coastal Cleanup Day
More than 600 volunteers rolled up their sleeves on Saturday, September 16 to pick
up 3.5 tons of landfill and 1.5 tons of recycled material from our city's eastern

Nanu Nanu! Robin Williams Meadow Officially Opens
Ahead of Comedy Day in Golden Gate Park this past weekend, local comedians gathered
to officially dedicate Robin Williams Meadow (formerly Sharon Meadow) on Friday,
 September 15. The official sign was unveiled, which was covered by (what else?)
 rainbow suspenders!

Model Yacht Club Celebrates its 120th Anniversary
The San Francisco Model Yacht Club celebrated its 120th anniversary in style this
past Saturday, September 16 at Spreckles Lake in Golden Gate Park. Supervisor Sandra

Open Gardens Day on September 22
