For a different twist on the science of animal mating behaviors, San Francisco Zoo and Gardens presents special Valentine’s Day Champagne Strolls (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=b1bf6ea59a&e=7683a9aed3) on February 16-17, where couples can pony up to the Love Potion Bar for mimosas and Bloody Mary’s, then discover animal mating facts as you explore SF Zoo. Engaging animal mating behavior facts can be found on brightly-colored, heart-shaped illustrated signs located around SF Zoo.

Members receive special early access to the Zoo at 9:30 am on February 16. Complimentary coffee available from 9:30 am - 10:00 am.

You won’t want to miss an exclusive animal care staff talk and see our chimpanzees up close in their new indoor dayroom of the Great Ape Passage. Plus, come early for free rides on our historic Dentzel Carousel or Little Puffer train. It’s our thanks to you and your continuing support of our mission to connect, care and conserve!

Summer Zoo Camp is the perfect place for your animal-loving child.  Campers entering Pre-K (must be 4 years old) to 5th grade can enjoy up to three weeks of Zoo Camp fun and learning.  We also offer Conservation Camp for 6th and 7th graders and Wellness 101 Camp is open to campers ages 12-17.  You can find our brochure and more information about camp online. You and your little one will both enjoy soaring like eagles, digging like meerkats, and grazing like goats in these early childhood classes. We want your SF Zoo memories for a SF Zoo Life display that will be part of an overall 90th Anniversary exhibit and for use as #TBT (Throw Back Thursday) social media posts. Video and digital photos can be emailed to marketing at sfzoo.org (mailto:marketing at sfzoo.org) , posted on social media with the hashtag, #SFZoo90. Additionally, photographs can be mailed to, San Francisco Zoo 90th Anniversary, 1 Zoo Road, San Francisco, CA 94132. Submissions should come with a brief description, including the year the photo was taken. Please note that the Zoo may not be able to send back the original, so a copy would be best.
