Garden Resource Day on May 11
Join us for our second Garden Resource Day of the year at the Golden Gate Park CommUNITY

Paul Simon to Donate Outside Lands Artist Fee
As part of his rare live performance at Outside Lands this summer, Paul Simon announced

SF Pride Golf Tournament on June 26
San Francisco Pride is pleased to announce its inaugural San Francisco Pride Golf
Tournament community fundraiser! The tournament will take place at San Francisco's
world-renowned TPC Harding Park on Wednesday, June 26 at 1 p.m. This first-of-its-kind

Call to Volunteer: Rec and Park Trail Corps!
Calling all trail fans! Do you love hiking trails in San Francisco? Want to be part
of the team that builds and maintains your favorite trails in the city? The San 
Francisco Recreation and Park Department's Urban Trails Program invites you to join
us in a kick-off volunteer work party, where you will gain valuable experience in
the basics of trail maintenance and learn more about the new volunteer Trail Corps.

This volunteer group will help us maintain over 30 miles of urban trails in parks
throughout the city from Glen Canyon to Mount Davidson! Volunteers will work alongside
program staff and other trail enthusiasts, learning all aspects of trail design,
 construction and maintenance, while enjoying the great outdoors in some of the 
city's most beautiful natural areas.

Our introductory work party will take place on Saturday, May 18 at Glen Canyon Park
where volunteers will prune vegetation and perform trail tread maintenance. For

We Players: Undiscovered Country
We Players theatre company's newest production Undiscovered Country is at the Sunnyside
Conservatory (236 Monterey Boulevard)! This neo-western love story is derived from

Nature Art in the Park on May 10

YPTMTC Presents Sister Act at the Randall
Join Young People's Teen Musical Theater Company (YPTMTC) for its production of

Street Soccer USA Spring Festival on May 11

Lest We Forget Panel Discussion on May 13

Family Day at Herz Playground on May 18
Swing by the 21st Annual Family Day on Saturday, May 18! The event will feature 
a breakfast and parade before the festivities continue after at Herz Playground 
(1701 Visitacion Avenue) with food, music, raffles and games! In addition, stop 
by the Herz Clubhouse to provide your ideas for a new neighborhood hub with a proposed
gym/recreation center, neighborhood retail, community center and more. Rec and Park's
staff will also be onhand to discuss the upcoming renovation of the children's playground
at Herz. We look forward to celebrating this Vis Valley tradition with you!
