Enjoy an exclusive animal care staff talk featuring our Sumatran tigers by Grotto A of the Lion House. Beat the Saturday morning crowds and come out for a great day at the Zoo! Plus, enjoy free rides on our historic Dentzel Carousel and Little Puffer train.

During the month of October, come explore our "Harvest Hallow," the City’s largest hay maze open every day (and free for Zoo members!). On weekends, enjoy our "Zoo Brew Haus" with a full slate of German-inspired dishes, international brews, and live music for all ages! The Zoo’s other cafes will feature fare from all over the world!

To celebrate SF Fleet Week, we are thrilled to welcome Navy Band Southwest’s 32nd Street Brass Band, a New Orleans-style brass ensemble, for a performance on October 10th at 11:30 a.m.

And baby makes 8! We are thrilled to announce the birth of our 8th François langur born on September 8th, no less!  Visit him at his energetic exhibit or when you renew at our Membership Office and then cast your vote for your favorite name! Boo at the Zoo, the Bay Area’s most popular family Halloween event, only happens once a year and you don't want to miss it! The family-friendly Halloween event includes trick-or-treat stations throughout the Zoo and Costume Parade and Contest.  Enjoy the Pumpkin Stomp & Chomp and an Insect Zoo full of creepy, crawly critter adventures!
