Money Talks With Your Child Did you know there are more dogs in San Francisco than children? Getting a pet can be exciting for the whole family. Here are some tips to translate pet responsibilities into money management. Comparison Shopping: Talking about the supplies your pet will need is the perfect opportunity for your child to use their research and math skills. Your child can help you gather information from stores or shopping websites to compare cost, nutrition and other criteria. Career Planning: See if your child is interested in jobs related to pet care. Even if your child isn’t drawn to these jobs, it can be good practice in researching careers they may be interested in the future and learning about the qualifications for that field. By doing this they can begin forming a plan to achieve their dream job. Read Full Article from Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Here October is Financial Planning Month!
