September Brings Extended Hours Thursdays in September!

In celebration of our 90th anniversary this year, we want to thank our constituents who come from throughout Bay Area, by granting free admission for locals according to their place of residence. Good Neighbor Free Days will take place every Thursday in September and target different Bay Area communities each week. In addition to free admission, the Zoo will open one hour later each Thursday (10 a.m.- 6 p.m.) with a special Happy Hour featuring both kid and adult beverages and entertainment from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Join "Tenzing", "Hillary", and "Hunter" as we celebrate International Red Panda Day on September 21!   Discover fascinating facts about wild red pandas and take home an activity book from our partners at the Red Panda Network.  Watch our red pandas investigate bamboo enrichment and learn about pandas from those who know them best at special talks at 10:15 am and 2:15 pm.

Members in good standing are invited to attend the Annual Meeting of the San Francisco Zoological Society in the Bernard Osher Great Hall of the Lurie Education Center, September 17, 2019, at 2 pm. The main item of business will be the election of officers & directors. To the extent that they exist, any proposed amendment(s) to the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws may be discussed.
