Golden Gate Park 150th Anniversary: A Virtual Photographic Collection
This special project comes courtesy of the Harvey Milk Photo Center, which transformed
from the planned classic gallery setting into a virtual experience. The call for
art was to capture unique sources of inspiration within Golden Gate Park -- a favorite
spot, place, time of day, motif - that spoke to each photographer on a very personal
level. We applaud the many photographers who contributed to this exhibit with their
many beautiful and arresting images.

420 Event in Golden Gate Park Cancelled
The City of San Francisco has a message for 420 fans: stay home. The annual gathering
for marijuana afficionados at Robin Williams Meadow in Golden Gate Park has been
cancelled. The shelter in place order still exists and it will be heavily enforced
on 420. The area will be fenced and inaccessible, streets in the area will be closed
as needed, and police will patrol the area, citing people who gather if necessary.
If you are partaking in your home, the City's Office of Cannabis offers recommendations
on staying safe.
"Cannabis remains a legal product for adults in San Francisco, but it is important
that it is purchased from a licensed dispensary to ensure that the cannabis is lab
tested. A list of licensed dispensaries can be found at our website [http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=001hMf8rfClBQOdzYRqq9wxGj7OsX-3NZS7U-Q4CwSW18eWhlvZBMRsuqH47PnXN5lrQ2KyoTErbJBFol3XcDuxp3nqBFMhptcknoMDULY4a4X5zEjD8j2DvZUZy8BvjT0HTcwKaGDmYKTkbstCubBZ3u4CK9x6mdaCyueYjAo9dJOhQMrFsbeohsUStASh9U_HF8_SL0CackN3vbkLiFM5DdcdLOHpxHNK&c=DrrZUbR1NyfGP5049LFt0fMej_INq6Y-IEs8h9lf97MT7m9WZuPg4Q==&ch=RyQlFxPy--1aOqsu3u5ENogvshQPS8ZkVaC_XVsnEC8L5NhAnPOHFg==],"
said Marisa Rodriguez, director of the Office of Cannabis. "We encourage residents
and businesses to comply with the Health Order and use delivery services when available.
As a reminder, dispensaries must have a Social Distancing Protocol posted at their
site. The City will enforce it to protect public health and the health of the many
vulnerable San Franciscans who rely on cannabis for medical needs."
Consume responsibly and follow social distancing guidelines [http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=001hMf8rfClBQOdzYRqq9wxGj7OsX-3NZS7U-Q4CwSW18eWhlvZBMRsuqH47PnXN5lrFYY_Y8Y8rYJK-pFRsbwuRMy3ZxV0wNbVJyN_oVXOVbt3Ts2s1cDRg7V2kMbwFbZK99jaybfWYTOMkaVDrtitlQD8n2M5O3EIVMbtbDkIF4WJQqbdM9xWCz5A267PT0Oju5aHgcaxrDYWyVRHBNp_Ug==&c=DrrZUbR1NyfGP5049LFt0fMej_INq6Y-IEs8h9lf97MT7m9WZuPg4Q==&ch=RyQlFxPy--1aOqsu3u5ENogvshQPS8ZkVaC_XVsnEC8L5NhAnPOHFg==].

Take Our Bond Survey
As we continue to shelter in place, we are planning for better days ahead. If you
have a moment, we would like to ask for your feedback and insight into our parks.
Your input will help us prioritize park improvements for the future as we are scheduled

features Young People's Teen Musical Theatre Company (YPTMTC) holding a Zoom rehearsal

classes are taught by performers ranging from Broadway experienced artists to YPTMTC
alumni and more! All programming is being generously funded by the non-profit organization
Friends of the Company. During a time when artists and performers who rely on paid
gigs are struggling to make a living and are affected by loss of work and show closures
