Princes, Princesses and Frogs, Oh My!

February 29 is a magical day that happens once every four years, and what better time to leap into fantasy and fun, then on Leap Day! We are inviting our royal guests to don their prettiest princess dresses, and most handsome prince outfits (and maybe come as your favorite frog!), to our first ever Princes, Princesses and Frogs, Oh My! (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=cc9e0becee&e=7683a9aed3) event to celebrate Leap Day. You will meet some of your favorite princesses in-person, including Anna from Frozen, Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Moana, on Nature Trail from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sway to the music and take a twirl at our Royal Ball in front of the Carousel. Be among the first 200 to receive your very own tiara when you visit our main gift shop.

Summer Zoo Camp is the perfect place for your animal-loving child. Campers entering Pre-K (must be 4 years old) to 5th grade can enjoy up to three weeks of Zoo Camp fun and learning.  We also offer Conservation Camp for 6th and 7th graders and Wellness 101 Camp is open to 8th - 12th grade campers. Orientations for our popular Nature Trail program, for teens 12-14 years old, will be held on 2/23 and 2/29 at 10 am. Orientations for our Talk on the Wild Side and Zoo Teacher Assistant programs, for teens 14-17 years old, will be held those same date at 1 pm.
