Help us name our new koala and raise
funds for Australian Bushfire Relief!

As one of only 10 U.S. zoos to house koalas, we are thrilled to welcome a new 2-year-old male!  Through the month of January, donate to participate in a naming contest for the young male with all proceeds benefiting Australian bushfire wildlife relief efforts. To enter (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=483c91f612&e=7683a9aed3) , select your donation amount, click “Print a special name” and enter your name choice for the young koala. You can also enter when you visit the zoo by visiting our Membership Office.

To commemorate the Year of the Rat, the San Francisco Zoo is thrilled to host Lunar New Year activities (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=f0746a9582&e=7683a9aed3) on February 1-2! Soak up the ambiance of the occasion and marvel at traditional Chinese lion and folk dance performances at 11 am and 1 pm at the Playfield Lawn. Make sure to stop by the Exploration Zone each day for special presentations at the Mouse House and agouti! Guests born in the Year of the Rat receive complimentary Zoo admission for the day.

We’re changing the menu at the Lemur Café! To celebrate the new menu, Members will receive a 20% discount and Guardians will receive a 30% discount on all food at the Lemur Café on February 2.
