Temporary SF Zoo & Gardens Closure
San Francisco Zoo & Gardens is temporarily closing to the public effective March 17 following Mayor London Breed’s “shelter-in-place” directive. The health and safety of Zoo visitors, staff, volunteers and animals is a top priority and we appreciate your understanding during this uncertain time.

Essential animal care and operations staff will remain on-site to care for our animals and infrastructure during this closure while non-essential employees will work from home if they are able to work remotely. We will provide updates on our website (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=a0710cfe71&e=7683a9aed3) and social media and look forward to welcoming you back when it is safe to do so.
