Surrealistic Summer Solstice Jam 3 & Comedy Day Coming to #GGP150 Concert Series

On Saturday, May 16 at 5 p.m. viewers will enjoy a livestream special production
 of 2019's Surrealistic Summer Solstice Jam, celebrating the music of 1969. Surrealistic
Summer Solstice Jam 3 was produced by Dawn Holliday with the musical direction of
Dan "Lebo" Lebowitz.
The two-hour special virtual concert will feature Bay Area music legends such as
 Norman Greenbaum, Country Joe McDonald, New Chambers Brothers, along with founding
members of iconic Bay Area bands such as Jefferson Starship, Santana, Jerry Garcia
Band and others. These local luminaries are joined by musicians from the newer generation
of San Francisco bands including ALO, The California Honeydrops, Strangefolk, Midnight
North, and more.
On Saturday, May 30 at 5 p.m., Debi Durst, Executive Producer of Comedy Day, has
 compiled a special concert of Comedy Day Classics that will showcase comedians 
who have performed in Golden Gate Park throughout Comedy Day's nearly 40-year history.
 The set list of featured artists is being finalized with more details to follow.

 shaming include our emergency child care workers and the children in their care.
We are currently serving  more than 200 children of healthcare and essential city
workers at 25 sites.  children Our staff is helping them with their school's distance
learning, playing games and getting them outside for activities. Please exercise

Parks to Kids Day on May 16
The National Recreation and Park Association and National Park Trust are celebrating
Parks to Kids Day on Saturday, May 16 to bring an infusion of the outdoors to families

been extended through May 31, 2020. We have reopened golf courses, archery ranges
and skate parks as of Monday, May 4. Playgrounds, adult fitness areas, picnics areas,
enclosed dog parks, and sport courts, including all basketball, tennis and pickleball
