Clancy's Pumpkin Patch Returns!

OMGourd-ness, fall has arrived and Clancy’s Pumpkin Patch (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=4463a31955&e=7683a9aed3) is returning with a location right outside of SF Zoo! After a full day of fun at the zoo, visit Clancy’s to pick out your favorite pumpkins for carving, decorating and baking. Zoo members and guests receive a 10% discount when they show a SF Zoo ticket or membership card. Clancy’s is open daily from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. and is located at Sloat and Skyline Blvds.
Sheet Success

Thanks to our wonderfully generous community, we have reached our goal of restocking the primates' linen supply! Pictured here is orangutan, Judy, snuggling some of the donated sheets. We are so grateful to everyone who donated and offered to donate their old sheets and linens to the chimpanzees and orangutans - we wish we could take them all! If you have not yet dropped off your sheets to the Zoo, we apologize that we are no longer accepting donations. Guaranteed Guardian Access

All of us at the Zoological Society are deeply appreciative of our major donor Guardian members, whose generous financial support has been particularly crucial during the COVID pandemic. With the Zoo now re-opened with limited daily capacity and mandatory advance reservations, we want to remind our Guardian members of a new exclusive benefit. Guardians are guaranteed daily admission at the time of their choice without the need for advance reservations. World Gorilla Day

Yesterday we celebrated World Gorilla Day and we want to bring awareness to these peaceful, family oriented animals. These magnificent creatures have no natural predators but are at critical risk because of humans. We proud to be home to five critically endangered western lowland gorillas who help to educate our guests are the importance of gorialla conservation.

What can you do to help gorillas? Recycle your old cell phones. This simple action protects gorilla habitat by reducing demand for Coltan, a mineral mined in Central Africa’s rainforests. Annual Meeting - September 29
Members in good standing are invited to attend the Annual Meeting of the San Francisco Zoological Society on September 29. The main item of business will be the election of officers & directors, as well as any proposed amendment(s) to the Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws.  Due to COVID safety protocols, this year’s meeting will be held virtually.
