Changing Your Ways - Free Admission Extended

We would like to thank everyone for pledging to make a difference in your life! Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit During Lunar New Year

To commemorate the Year of the Rabbit, San Francisco Zoo & Gardens is thrilled to host Lunar New Year (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=762e0c69a6&e=7683a9aed3) celebrations! This Sunday, February 5th, soak up the ambiance of the occasion and marvel at Chinese lion and dragon dance performances at the Elinor Friend Playground. We invite you to also go on a Zodiac Scavenger Hunt (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=a483df7458&e=7683a9aed3) through the Zoo to learn fun facts about the animals found on the Chinese calendar.  And make sure to stop by the Koret Center for Animal Rescue and Conservation (ARC) to see our very own rabbits, Lulu and Georgie!

Earlier this week, we celebrated International Zebra Day! Our three Grant's zebras, Gigi, Coco and Diamond, enjoyed a festive celebration (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=4435436503&e=7683a9aed3) that included a lot of hay which is their favorite!  As unique as a fingerprint, every zebra has a unique pattern of stripes. The distinctive black and white stripes make the zebra difficult to see in the light and shadow patterns of the grasslands and also aid in temperature regulation. Come and get an up close look at these magnificent animals on your next trip to SF Zoo!
