Goat My Valentine Fashion Show   Learning to Coexist with Coyotes in San Francisco Check out the recent article from the Richmond Review/Sunset Beacon about learning to coexist with coyotes in San Francisco at the link below. A few tips we have for coexisting with coyotes in our parks includes never feeding them (or any wildlife), keeping dogs on leashes, unless in a designated off-leash dog play area, and only admiring coyotes from a distance. If you encounter a coyote, slowly back away carrying any small children or pets. Do not run. You may also scare the coyote away by appearing large and making loud noises. If you encounter a coyote or see someone putting out food for a coyote, report it to San Francisco Animal Care and Control at (415) 554-9400, or email ACC at sfgov.org.
