Change Your Way on Groundhog Day

Groundhog Day isn’t just about the superstition that a groundhog seeing its shadow will determine how long winter will last. It’s also a metaphor that refers to events or actions that recur over and over. Hence, it’s about making changes in your life, often for the better. On Thursday, February 2 – Groundhog Day – we invite you to make a change in your life, however big or small, such as riding a bike instead of driving, or avoiding single-use plastic. Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit During Lunar New Year

To commemorate the Year of the Rabbit, San Francisco Zoo & Gardens is thrilled to host Lunar New Year celebrations! On February 5th, soak up the ambiance of the occasion and marvel at traditional Chinese lion and dragon dance performances. And make sure to stop by the Koret Center for Animal Rescue and Conservation (ARC) to see our very own Lulu, pictured here, and Georgie in the window!

Disney Pride in Concert 2023

We are proud to be a community partner for the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus' first ever Disney Pride in Concert! In celebration of their 45th anniversary, the Disney produced, family-friendly concert features 250 singing members, a 30-piece orchestra and iconic songs from Disney movies like The Lion King, Aladdin and Coco.
