Dear Incoming 6th Grade Hoover Students and Families,
Congratulations on your round 2 acceptance and welcome to Herbert Hoover
Middle School. Step Up is a two-day program to support incoming Hoover
students as they transition from elementary school to middle school.
Students will participate in a range of academic and resource activities to
build community with other Hoover students.
The dates and times for Step Up are listed below.
Monday, June 5th 9:00 am - 2:15 pm
Tuesday, June 6th 9:00 am - 2:15 pm

to register your child for Step Up. Enrollment is first come first served.
We currently have space available for 225 students. We will send a follow up
email confirming your child’s enrollment. Applications will end on May
31st, 2023.

Estimados Estudiantes y Familias de Hoover que Ingresarán a Sexto Grado:
Felicitaciones por su aceptación en la ronda 2 y bienvenidos a la escuela
secundaria Herbert Hoover. Step Up es un programa de dos días para apoyar a
los nuevos estudiantes de Hoover en su transición de la escuela primaria a
la escuela intermedia. Los estudiantes participarán en una variedad de
actividades académicas y de recursos para construir una comunidad con otros
estudiantes de Hoover. Las solicitudes finalizarán el 31 de mayo de 2023.
