Hi, all -
Happy New Year! I'm looking forward to confirmation starting again.
This is a scheduling email. Please respond as soon as possible. Thanks.
I'll send another email about content for our upcoming session.
Please let me know the following:
1. Will 3rd Thursdays continue to work for you?
2. What are your plans and commitments (including school starting) for
August that might impact our meeting, leadership, and group activity?
3. Would a confirmation retreat work on Saturday, October 19 to Sunday,
October 20 for your children? I would bring on someone to run it with me
for the weekend, so it would be kids only. If you cannot make this work,
please let me know other possibilities.
Thanks, everyone!

Justice, therefore, represents the peace of God. This peace is freedom from
the violence that distorts the human person. It is the elimination, in
other words, of systems, constructs, and all actualities of violence. God's
peace thus requires a radical restructuring of a political, social, and
economic order that is sustained by and thus creates 'crucified classes of
people.' *Kelly Brown Douglas, Stand Your Ground, p. 195*
