The latest news from EVUSA New EVUSA Music Requirements! All music played at EVUSA sanctioned events must be properly-licensed to avoid possible music copyright infringement liability. Effective August 1, 2024, the EVUSA waiver will include an acknowledgement that says:  "By submitting your music to EVUSA, you acknowledge and agree that you are the rightful owner of the copyright or have obtained all necessary permissions and licenses for the use of the music. You further understand and agree that the organizers of the vaulting competition and EVUSA are not liable for any copyright infringement claims that may arise from the use of the submitted music. It is your responsibility to ensure that the music used in your performance complies with any and all applicable copyright laws and regulations. By submitting your music, you agree to hold the fest organizers and EVUSA harmless and indemnify them should any copyright claims arise, and you further grant them the right to use and play the music submitted solely for the purpose of the vaulting competition, without any further compensation or liability.”  EVUSA is working to obtain blanket licenses with some of the larger performance rights organizations to simplify this process for our members. However, in the meantime, please use royalty-free music or obtain permission from the copyright holder.
