Google Calendar | iCal    Frances --  Area VI Needs YOU to Volunteer If you have attended an event in Area VI recently, you will have heard from our organizers asking for volunteers. Unfortunately, because there has been exceptionally low turnout of volunteers, several events have been close to being unable to run divisions, or have had to ask volunteers to cover multiple areas at one time. Area VI volunteer turnout is among the lowest in all of the USEA Areas, and we need your help. Our events depend on our members and the community showing up and volunteering for jump judging, ring stewarding, scribing, and so much more. Please set aside some time at your next event and give a few hours back to our sport - this helps keep costs down and it's FUN! Concerned about schedules, or only able to give a few hours? Talk to your organizers, they will make it work. Like rewards? Our event organizers offer certificates for volunteering that give you money off entries, schooling, swag, and more. At Twin Rivers, the Battle of the Barns tallies up hours by each barn to earn space in the coveted permanent stabling. USEA and Area VI also acknowledge top volunteers each year with great prizes. You can sign up to volunteer via the Eventing Volunteers website or download the app for iOS and Android.
