Email from American Vaulting Association The latest news from EVUSA ~Important~ New EVUSA Requirement "We all have a role to play to ensure our members, especially our young ones, are safe." As of January 1, 2025, EVUSA (as required by our affiliate agreement with the USEF) will require Safe Sport training. Who will be required to be Safe Sport Certified? Any EVUSA Competing Member who is 18-years-old and older (based on your actual birthday) EVUSA Staff, Board Members, Competition Management & Coaches Adults who are in regular contact with minors at their club EVUSA registered clubs are expected to follow all Safe Sport rules and recommendations and actively promote athlete safeguarding policies and practices at their club, including, but not limited to Minor Athlete Abuse and Prevention Policies MAAPP Policies Here To learn more about the benefits of the Safe Sport program Click Here Where to Begin To get SafeSport trained, you will need to join USEF as a Subscribing ($25/yr) or Competing ($80/yr) member. Competing membership is required only if competing at a USEF recognized competition in a USEF recognized class. There are numerous benefits to USEF membership at both tiers in addition to SafeSport training, including access to insurance benefits, additional training materials, access to USEF Network content, and more.
