Stern Grove Playground - Construction Update!

Thanks for your ongoing support during the Stern Grove Playground Renovation<https://sfrecpark.org/1551/Stern-Grove-Playground-Renovation>. The custom playground equipment looks great, and we can't wait to open to the public!

Right now, the contractor is focused on planting, signage installation, and other finishing touches. Unfortunately, the opening of the new playground has been rescheduled to mid-September (date TBD) as there have been unforeseen delays getting the playground surfacing installed. Installation of the surfacing is currently planned for mid-August and will take around two weeks to complete. After that, final inspections for code compliance will occur.

As soon as we have an opening celebration date, we will share it with you all!
