Hi Frances!!!!

Oh my gosh, I can’t even tell you how excited I was whenever I got your email tonight! You seriously made my whole day! You’re such a great writer and I feel like I know so much about you just from this one email. I was smiling at my phone, while reading your message the whole time because I saw so much of myself in what you said. 

So confession time, when I was 14 I also had a steady boyfriend who was 16 and I was sooo in love with him. 🥰 So I completely get what you mean about Lucas. Those feelings are no joke. 

Reading what you wrote about school made me laugh because I had such a similar experience. I was pretty popular too, but I had friends in every circle not just one group. Mainly guy friends though because you are right, girls can be such assholes!! Girls were so mean to me sometimes, and I never really understood it, but my mom said it’s probably because they were afraid their boyfriends wanted to date me. 🙈 That didn’t make them being rude for no reason ok!! 

You will totally get this: something that I have always said ever since high school and still say to this day is “I don’t want to be in the drama. I just want to know all about it.” 🤪 I won’t lie, whenever I read that part of your email, I had to take a breath for a minute because I have always said that! 

People have always trusted me with so many secrets, some that I will take to the grave with me, and I too, am always trying to help others and solve all of their problems! Really to a fault! I’ve had to learn not everyone’s problems are mine to handle, but man it’s hard when I know how to help! It’s one of the things that has always been a cause of anxiety for me, actually. 

One more funny note about high school though, is my senior year I was actually voted “drama queen” which still cracks me up! 👸 I wore that crown proudly because I knew I had the best of intentions. 💅🏼 After all, I was only trying to help! 

You mentioning your grades reminded me of myself too, I never really had to work that hard and I always had A’s and B’s. I actually ended up being both homecoming queen and valedictorian. 👩‍🎓 📚 👑 How ironic right? I feel like those are so opposite of each other. Oh another fun fact about me, I have had the same best friend since I was 14! We are still friends to this day. Her name is Jessica. 

I wanted to tell you thank you for opening up to me about your depression and anxiety. That is a really brave thing to be able to talk about. I know how heavy those feelings can be and I think it’s amazing that you are taking steps to work through them with medication and your sports therapist. It’s so good that at 13 that you’ve had the space to be honest about that and don’t feel like you have to hide it or pretend that everything is fine. That honesty with yourself will help you so much in life.

I loved hearing about Bobby  🐎 and Barbie 🐩 . Eventing is no joke. You are braver than I am! Pets are so good at being companions and great therapy animals! I know they are both helping you in probably more ways than you realize. My mom (your biological grandma) not only road horses, but Frances you look so much like she did when she was in high school! Everyone has told me my entire life that I look just like her, I have her exact same facial features and face shape, but My Dad’s brown eyes and brown hair. Although right now, my hair is bright burgundy red so I guess I don’t really look like either one of them currently. Haha 

I would love to have the access code for your Google Drive to see all of your pictures! I will definitely follow you on Instagram but just so you know, I’m not on there very much, because I’m still over on Facebook like it’s the early 2000s or something. 🥴

Frances you seriously sound like such an amazing person funny, smart, brave, and so easy to relate to! I am so so so excited to be able to get to know you!

P.S. YOU are so pretty!!!! When I saw your picture I was honestly stunned at your beauty! You look so much like my mom! I am going to try and find a picture of her when she was younger and I’ll send it to you! 

Oh and P.S.S. If I mispelled your name anywhere just know I was being lazy and talk texting so it’s my dumb phone spelling it that way! Not me going back and forth. I think I changed them all to your correct spelling, but don’t hate me if it says “Francis” anywhere. Oh! One more cool fact…. My dad’s dad was named Frances spelled just like yours, and I was actually named after him! His other name was Talmage and if I was a boy I was going to be Taylen. “T” after him. But I was born a girl and my parents changed the “T” to a “K”….. ok, I hope I haven’t overwhelmed you with information. I tend to do that and overtalk! 🤪 especially when I’m excited!
